Children's Ministry

Nursery

There is a nursery available for all services for children from birth through age 3. We have two experienced nursery workers who will lovingly care for your children.

Sunday School

At First Baptist we believe children are created with value and purpose. In our Children's Bible Study, on Sunday mornings at 9:45am, teachers use multi-media platforms to relate exciting Bible stories and teach the children the basics of the Bible. Younger children meet in our Preschool building and 1st-5th grades meet on the 3rd floor of our Education building.

Special Events

Each summer, First Baptist has Vacation Bible School for children ENTERING Kindergarten-6th grade. They have opportunities to learn about the Bible, and participate in crafts, music and more. We do not plan to have a 2023 VBS. Watch our Facebook page for updates!

First Baptist annually holds a free Fall Festival for the children in our church and the community. Recently,  we have used a "Trunk or Treat" format with games, food and lots of candy that the children enjoy while wearing their favorite costume. We do not plan to have a 2023 Fall Festival.
