How to Fast

  1. Jesus condemns performative religion.
  2. Our culture celebrates the performance.
  3. We must abandon any desire for attention.
  4. We must commit to a fast that is significant.
  5. We must open ourselves to God's purposes.
  6. Pray & Persevere
  7. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and rescues them from all their troubles. Psalm 34:17
